Three Everton Hills siblings have well and truly adopted the feminist anthem Sisters Are Doin'It For Themselves. The sisters - Claudine, Chellee and Lauren - have opened their own floristry and giftware business and are already finalists in the North-West News Business Achiever Awards. Eldest sister Claudine said the three had become closer since starting business a year ago in a studio and expanding it last month. "If we didn't have that initial bond it would've been a lot harder," Claudine said. "We all do our own thing - I look after the giftware, Chellee is the florist and Lauren does the marketing. "People have been very supportive and things are going very well." The Camelia Ave business specialises in wedding flowers but also offers gift
baskets, hampers, home ware and a range of baby gifts. "We get more men in
here than women," added Claudine. "It's very convenient for them because
you can park right out front, there's a takeaway and bottleshop in the same
complex, and they can pick up a bunch of flowers at the same time. "We've
been known to get the odd boyfriend out of the doghouse!"
